But shortly (1963.) they added scented candles to the list of products by Diptyque, which became one of the main among their offers (and still is). 1968. the first Diptyque scent was launched - L`Eau, which is based on old English recipes of home fragrances. I have a special connection with this fragrance, it evokes such vivid memories of being at my family's homes in Sicily in the summertime and eating fresh figs from the orchards. The fig is so hyperrealistic to me and I found myself drawn to the added 'creaminess' which I found is coconut. IWhen I first sprayed this, all I could smell was sherbet fountains - the sweets, where you have the lemon sherbet in a tube, with a black liquorice stick to eat it with. That's exactly what Oyedo smelt like to me - sherbet and sweet, chewy black liquorice. I like the smell, it's fun and fizzy and very nostalgic. Oh wow this is amazing! Exactly the sort of thing I have been searching for years. It's clean, comforting, feminine with a hint of sexiness. Powdery but modern - I can certainly smell the pink pepper in this. I find this is quite a cold smelling fragrance but don't let that put you off. I can't imagine anybody getting offended by this - it's appropriate for all weathers and occasions. Definitely signature worthy in fact I think this is my new signature.

Testing this morning, I begin to understand Fabrice Pellegrin's voluptuous creations a little better now. Volutes takes me immediately to Eau Duelle rather than Chergui for comparison, this is Duelle's tobacco smoking cousin (in fact I had to look up Pellegrin's other creations right away as I thought of Eau Duelle upon first sniff).
Volutes is a fruity, gently honeyed hay thanks to a delicately calibrated dose of immortelle, that note which can so quickly consume all others. It's a gorgeous blend indeed. - miss mills

I love, love this perfume. I get a whole ton of jasmine, but nothing too overpowering that makes you feel sick. It is also somewhat sweet and a little bit like Jasmine tea! It’s such a beautiful scent that probably is my signature. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last very long and I find the need to reapply often. I just adore this! A lovely jammy rose that starts with a wallop of driving-by-a-barnyard-with-the-windows-down oud before settling into syrupy, boozy tobacco that almost goes in a sticky dark chocolate direction on my skin (but not quite). It is more feminine fragrance for me, it's sweet and spicy But not overwhelmingly spicy. I find it expensive soapy scent, the incense feeling is almost like to ford black orchid.
