Louis Vuitton Malletier is a luxurious French fashion company, best known for leather bags and suitcases and its monogram. It was founded by Louis Vuitton in 1854 on Rue Neuve des Capucines in Paris. He was succeeded by his son Georges Vuitton. In 1913, the Louis Vuitton building on Champs-Elysees was opened. After the death of Georges Vuitton in 1936, his son Gaston-Louis Vuitton continues the tradition.

The LMVH company was founded in 1987, with brands Moet et Chandon, Hennessy and Louis Vuitton under it. Young designer Marc Jacobs became creative director of the house in 1997. He was replaced in 2013 by Nicolas Ghesquiere.

Louis Vuitton began in 1920 with the production of luxurious toiletries products such as crystal perfume bottles called "Editions d'Art". The first known fragrance is knoof the house is Heures d'Absence, launched in 1927. It was followed by Je Tu Il in 1928, and then Réminiscences and Eau de Voyage in 1946. Eau de Voyage was re-introduced in the 1980s.

A new chapter in the history of perfumes began in September 2016. The creation process took over four years ago, including establishing the creative atelier Les Fontains Parfumées in Grasse with Jacques Cavallier Belletrud at the position of in-house perfumer. The license belongs to the LVMH company.

"I decided to buy this yesterday and I'll tell you why- I have many oud fragrances that I love, and many of the notes are similar to this. HOWEVER, despite some similarities to other oud fragrances the notes are slightly different and I really like this specific scent. I really like how its blended. What really sets this one apart though is the quality of the LONGEVITY. I tried it again this year, sprayed my coat sleeve, and then was 😲 shocked at how long the scent lasted. 5 weeks later my coat still smelled like it was sprayed yesterday. I LOVE that. The fixatives in this one WORK! This is by far a great blended, and one of the LONGEST lasting, most pleasant non-arabian "French perfume" ouds out there. -mikemuscles21

This is a wonderful fragrance with very good performance. To me it is unlike any other fragrance. Im sorry but it does not compare to Bleu or Aventus. To my nose, this is a very aromatic fragrance with strong citrus notes which is balanced by ginger notes and has watery fresh roundness about it. There is a slight amber but I do not smell any spice. Afternoon Swim by Louis Vuitton is a Citrus fragrance for women and men. Afternoon Swim was launched in 2019. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Cavallier.

It has the Bvlgari Tygar DNA, but instead of woody and grapefruity, this is pure orange citruses, way more light, way more aquatic leaning without being actually aquatic in the end. Its name is really apt, I really imagine someone taking a swim in the ocean, then drying themselves about 90%, then cutting up some oranges and enjoying them by the water. That's the scenery I get from this scent, surely due to the name. If it was just named oranges & water, I'd say it smells really cooling, refreshing and juicy, tad bit aquatic. I got this as a tester while buying some sunglasses from LV. I have ti admit this is the BEST rose fragrance I ever smelled 😍 I am not a fan of rose perfumes as they smell soapy and heavy, but this one is sweet and ambery at the same time. Very non-synthetic and very deep. When I smell it I get this beautiful image in my mind of a warm summer night, breezy, with dark blue sky and red and pink roses in full bloom. Bright, clean musk intertwined with a very watery orange and sweet pear accords. The orange fades as it dries down but it retains the peary sweetness. It's pretty fresh and simple, easy to like. Gives me Aqua Universalis vibes, or Light Blue, but not identical by any means. Not my favorite of LV's Les Colognes, however, but I'll give it credit for it being the only one with passable performance. Météore by Louis Vuitton is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for men. This is a new fragrance. Météore was launched in 2020. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Cavallier.

It has a very pleasant scent. Opens up like JV Artisan pure with bright citrus note, then turns a little creamy and floral (resembles a toned down PDM Percival) and ends with woody & musky base note. The dry-down stayed with me for at least 6-7 hours and people near me could still detect it and i got quite a few compliments. To me, without any doubt, Meteore is made with very high quality ingredients, especially the vetiver at the base note. The longevity is very impressive for a fresh perfume but the price is way too high in my opinion.-robin1234
