Tom Ford Designer
Thomas Carlyle Ford, better known today as Tom Ford, is an American fashion designer and film director. Initially trained as an architect at Parsons School of Design, Ford spent a year working abroad at an internship for fashion house Chloé and developed a feel for the fashion industry.
Ford concealed his architecture background and displayed considerable personal charm in his pursuit of a job in the fashion industry. His first position was with American designer Cathy Hardwick. He accepted a position with Perry Ellis, but knew better prospects were available in Europe. Prestigious Italian fashion house Gucci was struggling at the time, and Ford accepted a position in Gucci's women's Ready-to-Wear division in 1990. Ford achieved considerable success at Gucci, eventually heading up multiple divisions before being named Creative Director in 1992. Ford's efforts were pivotal in Gucci's turn-around. The company was nearly bankrupt when Ford joined the organization, but when he left in 2004, the company's value had more than doubled. During Ford's tenure with Gucci, the company acquired Yves Saint Laurent, and Ford created provocative, controversial and highly successful ad campagins for YSL fragrances Opium and M7. These ads were an early indicator of Ford's future direction.

Very simple and straight forward–it’s warm tobacco and vanilla, a little bit of spice underneath. A very grown and sexy fragrance! I don’t think it carries over well to warmer months so I try to wear this as much as possible during winter and I always get a lot of compliments. I find it fades very quickly on the skin but lasts a long time on clothes. It's one of my favorites but as with all Tom Ford perfumes I don't really think the price tag is justified. - seilche

This is what comes in mind when I think the word Tom Ford. Very Sophisticated, Creative and luxurious scent. First sniff and I immediately bought it. Very edible yet very manly. If christian Grey would wear some fragrance this would definitely be his scent . it's very addictive. I don't care about how expensive it is. I would have paid more. Definitely has a grown and sexy vibe it’s dark, gothic and slightly sweet from the truffle and vanilla. A real mood setter for sure, I highly recommend this for dates. I do wish it projected more but you can’t have everything I guess lol still a amazing scent 10/10. - Ty/dc

I love Tuscan Leather, but my wife doesn't - she always says I smell like a three-piece leather suite whenever I wear it - but I don't care, i still love it. Boozy bitter cherry-almond with an undercurrent of vanilla; reminds me of an amaretto sour. Not a long lasting fragrance but it becomes a wonderfully intimate skin scent. A lot of people describe this as smelling like cough syrup and. well. it’s not wrong lol but I love it! - seilche

Velvet Orchid by Tom Ford is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Velvet Orchid was launched in 2014.
Just like the bottle suggests this has a purple feel to it! If only colors had smells :) Along with the dominant rum note I can really pick up the heliotrope and as it settles in the skin I definitely get a suede effect. It does share the same dna as Black Orchid, but with the added rum and floral notes this does lean more feminine (but men can easily use this if they want!) The longevity and sillage are both over average. I really hope this never gets discontinued. - amber832

Grey Vetiver by Tom Ford is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. Grey Vetiver was launched in 2009.
Wonderful spicy citrusy and inoffensive vetiver. High quality ingredients. The grapefruit, and nutmeg/pimento are up front and the woody vetiver in the back but still present. Really really classy masculine scent and easy to wear. Also nice as a signature scent. I prefere this one over the edt because of the spiciness which gives it a different twist. - Arber Cami

Ombré Leather (2018) by Tom Ford is a Leather fragrance for women and men. Ombré Leather (2018) was launched in 2018.
If a perfume defined masculinity then Ombré Leather is the perfect example. I’ve owned the edp for the 3rd time in a row now and the amount of compliments i get is just insane.
Having said that, it’s not a blind buy though, try it before you buy as it is priced bit on the expensive side. Opening is strong rugged leather but the dry down is heavenly and it freaking stays on you all day, you can literally smell on the shirts and tshirts many days later, it’s that strong. Tom Ford presents a new limited edition called Fucking Fabulous from his exclusive Private Blend perfume line during the New York Fashion Week in September 2017.
Fabulous - it is what it is. A leather like scent, but incredibly hard to describe. Unique, expensive, and cool. Smell it on your skin before you buy. Hard to pinpoint what scent profile it is, but that also means it’s very easy to pick out. I was at a bar and smelled it on someone - I knew right away they had FF on. - Perfumeboy22
